Summer Chef’s Salad

A great way to use leftover cold cuts and cheeses is tuning them into a chef’s salad. So instead of ordering in I make this loaded salad at home. After all they recommend sliced meat and cheese be used within a week so this is the perfect remedy if you haven’t used it all on sandwhiches.

It’s also customizable so if you dont like something just delete it. Feel free to add others, like olives, salami, parmesan cheese, mozzarella…. There really is no absolute right or wrong here. So grab a fork and make sitting down to dinner tonight easy.

Ingredients

  • 5 oz Spinach Spring mix
  • 10 oz Mann’s Power Blend
  • Grape tomatoes
  • Diced yellow onion
  • Diced green pepper
  • 8 oz Fresh green beans, diced
  • 1/2 medium cucumber, diced
  • 6 oz fresh Broccoli florets
  • 1 Granny Smith green apple
  • 1 quartered hard boiled egg
  • Alfalfa sprouts
  • 3 or 4 red radishes diced
  • Ham
  • Black pepper turkey
  • Roast beef
  • Swiss cheese
  • Sharp cheddar
  • Gouda
  • 1/3 c Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 Tbsp Sunflower seeds
  • 6 tsp, divided Everything bagel Seasoning
  • 2 oz Herb seasoned croutons

Insider tip. Check your produce section. Spring mixes, Mann’s Power Blend, broccoli florets, may be prepared for you. I love both the farmers market and make alot of my own ingredients, but for some things like croutons it’s a great time saver unless you have homemade on hand.

Dressing

  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 Tbsp Spinach Artichoke Dip
  • 2 Tbsp French Onion dip
  • 2 tsp Everything Bagel Seasoning
