Kiss and Make up Day

Let go of resentment, grudges, anger, and indignation. August 25th is Kiss and Make Up Day. This unofficial holiday encourages people to make up and reconcile with anyone they are estranged with – at work, school, or in their family.

Conflicts happen in life. Disagreements are a big part of our relationships with others. Best friends, friends, families, and co-workers, may all experience them.

Kiss and make up is an English language idiom that means to forgive someone and be friends again with them.

A Second Chance

Kiss and Make Up Day provides a second chance – it is a day to set aside all difference and let people in our lives know that despite all the quarrels and the disagreements, they mean a lot to us.

How to Celebrate?

Being angry with a loved one or friend can be harmful not only to a relationship but to one’s own mental and physical health. So, take this day to let go of all the anger and make up with someone you have quarreled with.

Jennifer lives happily in North Florida with her husband Scott and after a stroke and two brain surgeries her mom. While not blessed with children they dote on their four legged children four cats. I started writing after spinal surgery required second round of physical therapy to learn to walk yet again. While reading is a favorite hobby writing is something new with the launch of this blog and hopefully a fiction novel in the future.
