Happy Thanksgiving

With Thanksgiving just days away its easy to lose sight of the small things. Are you the cook this year? A midst the turkey, stuffing, cranberry, table settings and preparation for family and friend visits it’s important to take some moments to reflect.

Gratitude is one of the focuses of this month. While warm memories with family and friends are on the way, it’s always nice to acknowledge the great many reasons we have to be thankful…

Parents, grandparents, children, siblings, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and even the odd uncle or two. Best friends, new, and old, neighbors, and even strangers. Anyone who touches our lives.

If the last few years have taught me anything it’s to be thankful for what I have. The love, memories, and the ability to recognize how truly fortunate I am.

Here are some of our favorites that we share at our table….

From our family to your have a warm, wonderful holiday….

Jennifer lives happily in North Florida with her husband Scott and after a stroke and two brain surgeries her mom. While not blessed with children they dote on their four legged children four cats. I started writing after spinal surgery required second round of physical therapy to learn to walk yet again. While reading is a favorite hobby writing is something new with the launch of this blog and hopefully a fiction novel in the future.
