BABY SAFETY MONTH – September

Baby Safety Month is an annual designation observed in September.

Every year Baby Safety Month features a special area of focus.  In 2016, the importance of product registration cards and their role in effectively managing product safety is at the forefront of the 2016 campaign.  Babies keep parents and caregivers busy, but by filling out those registration cards that comes in every infant product they buy is a valuable safety step! Find out more about Recall Response provided by the Juvenile Product Manufacturers Association.

HOW TO OBSERVE

Make sure your baby is safe and use #BabySafetyMonth to post on social media.

HISTORY

The Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association founded Baby Safety Month in 1983.  Originally known as “Expectant Mother’s Day”, over the years the celebration has grown into a full month of information, education and focus on infant safety.

Jennifer lives happily in North Florida with her husband Scott and after a stroke and two brain surgeries her mom. While not blessed with children they dote on their four legged children four cats. I started writing after spinal surgery required second round of physical therapy to learn to walk yet again. While reading is a favorite hobby writing is something new with the launch of this blog and hopefully a fiction novel in the future.
